Hi Friends, welcome to come2me kids blog! I’m so glad you are here. You may be wondering what come2me kids is all about. Well, let me tell you.
The idea to start this blog and the Instagram page came to my mind as I saw so many resources all-round teaching parents to pray for their children- which of course is a wonderful thing to do. Then I thought to myself kids can be taught to pray too. They just need the right resources that they can use by themselves.
Kids can be taught to pray too.
That way they can begin to learn how to talk to God, express their feelings, fears, faith and everything in between. This is why this blog exists to come along you as a parent to teach your children how to pray. Sometimes my 7 years son has the words when it’s time to pray and some days he struggles with the words, thinking it’s a test he needs to pass for Mummy and Daddy. But we constantly love to remind him that prayer is like talking to a friend, just say it as you feel!
We hope that every prayer post, every Bible verse, every song, every prayer activity we share will stir the hearts of your children to pray and follow Jesus, to love Him day by day and become friends of God.
As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.” (Matthew 14 verse 19, ICB Translation).
